What customers say?

“ The prices are a bit high, but I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat delicious food. The dishes and presentation are beautiful and perfect. I went at night, so they only had the set menu. There are three tables for four, and although I made a reservation when I visited on a Saturday, all the seats were taken. There are no accommodations nearby, so you'll have to drive, but it's worth having someone behind the wheel. One thing to note is that the portions are quite large, so men will be full and women will be unable to finish them, so you'll need to make sure you come with an empty stomach beforehand. ”

“ We visited for lunch. Reservations are required. The restaurant is small, with only two tables and counter seating. The course price was 6,600 yen per person, but with the addition of food and drinks it came to around 9,000 yen. The food was made with seasonal vegetables from the Yatsugatake Mountains and was very delicious. The meat dishes were also excellent. The meal consisted of four basic dishes and dessert, but was quite filling and very satisfying. ”

“ Hats off to the shocking and moving dishes! Once again, I was blown away... This time, I was having trouble choosing a second course, "I'm so confused I can't decide, so I'll just leave it to the chef..." And lo and behold, they brought out an "All-Meat Platter"! I was completely captivated. But what was even more shocking that day was - Baked Hakushu Rice Risotto (served with Conger Eel and Koshi Afura Frites) - It was so delicious it could have been the main course! But, but! What was even more moving was - Spinach Pasta Lasagna - I'm speechless. - The only way to describe it is "perfect." I've gotten the order wrong, but the first dish, - Smoked Marlin Salad - was a must-try for lovers of smoked food. - This alone easily clears two glasses of bubbly. When I spoke to the chef after the meal, he told me that they will be standardizing their evening menu and focusing on full courses only. Hearing that this will allow them to offer higher quality food, I am excited to see how this restaurant will evolve in the future. Unfortunately, the "One Cork Service" that I had relied on, which allowed me to use a taxi for a fixed price, is no longer available, but I am grateful that the restaurant has now made its own contract with a taxi company so that I can continue to use taxis at a discounted rate. In terms of taste, service, location, and price, there is nothing to complain about! Once again, I am grateful that this restaurant exists in the Yatsugatake region. ”

“ Once again, I had no idea there was such a wonderful hidden Italian restaurant in my neighborhood... Every dish was carefully prepared and delicious. We enjoyed a course meal that would have cost twice as much if we had eaten it in Ginza, all at a reasonable price. I think the lovely wife and her husband, the owner-chef, worked together beautifully. Thank you so much!! ”

“ I think this is an outstanding Italian restaurant in the area (although in many ways it feels close to French). The atmosphere and service are near ideal. The food, while the story behind each course is a little rough around the edges, is of a very high standard. I think the meat dishes in particular are among the best in the country. The food is served quite slowly, taking over two hours, but never boring. The portions are also substantial. Even a half course is quite filling. If I had to find a flaw, it would be the wine list. It's full of expensive items, so the cost rises sharply. There are many young dishes for the price, and many of the dishes on the menu don't have vintage information, so the balance isn't great. I would like to see more fun options in the several thousand yen range. ”

“ I've been here several times, and the Italian food here is absolutely delicious! It never disappoints. It's truly impressive! First of all, every dish is beautifully presented and delicious! The menu has changed slightly since my last visit, and now consists of five dishes. Previously, there were four, plus one additional dish, but ours was so large we couldn't finish it even if we wanted to. This time, perhaps they reduced the amount of pasta a little, and we were served risotto. The risotto was made with Italian porcini mushrooms, and it was rich and delicious! Someone mentioned it on Instagram, but it's so great to be able to eat such delicious meat dishes at an Italian restaurant. The grilled vegetables that came with it were so delicious, so I asked about it, and they told me they spend a lot of time preparing them. It's clear that they put a lot of effort and care into every dish, and that's why. The portions are so generous, and I'm beyond satisfied! Lunch here leaves me feeling incredibly happy. The menu seems to change about every two months, so I plan to visit when they change. The handsome husband and his adorable wife will be welcoming you! ”

“ This restaurant was like a little gem, filled with sincerity and style. The crab pasta was perfect. The freshly baked grissini and focaccia were simply heavenly. It's probably hard to create a classic dish that never goes out of style, but this restaurant offers a dinner course that evokes the love of Yatsugatake, with delicious vegetables and carefully selected ingredients. I'm planning to return in a different season. As an aside, the speakers had great sound quality and the background music was lovely. There are many restaurants in Yatsugatake, but it's rare to find one that reminds me of the pasta I had in Italy. I wholeheartedly recommend it. ”

“ I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy delicious Italian food. The food was well-presented and well-organized, and the taste was excellent. The log cabin also has a nice atmosphere, making it perfect for a variety of occasions, whether with family or on a date. This is definitely one restaurant I'd like to visit again. ”
